Travel insurance

Travel insurance is something you take out when you go on holiday or a long trip. This insurance makes sure that you will be reimbursed for medical costs and expenses, even outside of your health insurance, if necessary. Many people only take out travel insurance when they book a holiday; however, you can also take out a continuous insurance. The advantage of continuous travel insurance is that you are insured throughout the year; also when you go away for the weekend. The disadvantage, however, is that you pay a fixed monthly amount, even if you do not go anywhere for a few months. If you do not want this, it is wise to stop your travel insurance.
