To cancel your Max Bupa health insurance policy in the UK, you need to provide a written notice at least 7 days in advance. If no claims have been made, the insurance company will cancel the policy and refund the premium for the mentioned period. If you prefer to cancel through their website, simply log in to your account and follow the cancellation process. Alternatively, you can also cancel via Xpendy, but please note that this service may involve some costs.
This is entirely up to you. You already have access to free treatment from the nhs, so choosing private health insurance is more of a personal preference. If you're happy to rely on the nhs for treatment or if you have a long-standing chronic condition, then health insurance may not be for you.
