If you decide to cancel your iCloud subscription, all the photos, videos, and documents currently stored in iCloud will remain safe, but any new files won't be backed up. Additionally, you will no longer be able to send or receive emails using your iCloud email address. To cancel the service, you can easily do so through the iCloud website. Alternatively, you can also cancel your subscription via Xpendy, although this may incur some costs.
Doing so means you will permanently lose access to the following: app store purchases, including apple books and any paid active subscriptions. Your photos, videos, and documents stored in icloud. Messages sent to your account via imessage, facetime, or icloud mail.
If you decide to cancel your iCloud storage subscription, and your iCloud storage exceeds your new plan's capacity, your iCloud won't sync or update your data. To resume updates, you can either increase your storage capacity or delete some data to free up space. If you choose to cancel iCloud through their website, you can also do it via Xpendy, but keep in mind that this service may involve some costs.
If you stop your iCloud subscription or disable iCloud services, you'll lose access to features like iCloud Drive, iCloud Photos, and iCloud Backup. Data stored in your iCloud account, such as photos, documents, and backups, may become inaccessible. Synced data like contacts, calendars, and Safari bookmarks may also no longer be available across your devices.
